I was just curois if anyone could let me know about the shifter lights. My friend has an 850 turbo, and I noticed that her heating control lights worked, and I wasn't aware that they even existed until I saw them, and they don't work on mine. So, I wanted to know if the letters that indicate the gears light up as well, of if they just stay as is. I also have a question regarding the key reminder ding that sounds when the keys are in the ignition and and the door is open. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed that the noise wouldnt stop, even when the door was shut and I was driving, so I took the fuse out, and the noise stopped, but now I don't have any interior lights either. So my question is, does anyone know where the button or sensor is located that triggers the dinging noise? I would assume that it is somewhere in the door crack, but I havent had any luck in finding it yet. Thanks.

Re: Quick question regarding interior lighting (Swede115)

Never had to deal with it myself but they tell me the switch for the interior lighting and probably the chime thingo as well is in the actual door locking mechanism itself, why they did it that way and not just a simple switch on the door post etc. is beyond me <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0">
