I am looking into a set of wheels, 19x8 offset 49. Will these fit our car ok? I currently run 19x8.5 offset of 38 with 235/35/19s. The wheel calculator confused me and it has been a really long day for me (46 hours and counting), so please don't be too hard on me if this question is silly.
Pic of the wheels, which should be able to take a very good beating from my shizzy roads. These wheels are meant more for show, I am still looking for a decent set of lightweight 18s/19s for if/when I go to the track.

Re: Quick Q about specific wheel fitment, any help appreciated. $ ridin ... (carreragt7)

You'll have to fill in the XC and arent those wheels like damn near 30lbs each

28 lbs, so yeah, on the heavy side for our cars (only 1/2 lb heavier than some of the wheels I've had). I'd be powder coating them gunmetal so I planned on filling in the XC. I like the looks, and figure if an XC90 can run them they should be damn near indestructable even on my crappy roads. Price is very reasonable.

We must be brothers, i was just eye ballin a set of these the other day haha. I like the concave look of them. Long as the center bore fits the S40 hub and the bolt patterns the same you should be able to input it into the offset calculator on 1010tires.com and check fitment.

Dude I love those, the only thing that stopped me was the XC. 8" width with 49 offset is gonna be just inside the fender, 5mm spacers would make em look super and be about a mm or two inside the edge of the fender plane. Cicas wheels are in the mid 40s and are 8" wide, maybe he can chime in with the exact offset?

Yeah, I love the looks of them, and figure since my car is currently more design than performance they would be nice for the crappy roads around here. Delete the XC, powder coat gunmetal with black or some other accent color (green, anyone?) and they would be sick. I think I will go ahead and complete the deal. I've gone through 4 sets of wheels in less than a month, do I get some kind of wheel whorrrrrre record or trophy?

My record is 3 in a month. The only thing is, I really like the accents on the flat faces. Not sure how they would look all gunmetal.

Re: (crossie)

LOL. That made my day Crossie, thanks!
Yeah Jason, I think I will do the main part gunmetal and leave the accents alone, maybe an apple (think green ipod nano) green, but I tend to shy away from any bright colors... Basically something kinda like that Audi you sent me pics of.

It also helps that my job pays decently well and is super easy. I also used to collect Nixon watches, had over 250 at one point, but I've been selling them off to pay for car stuff.
I have a problem that I am never satisfied with stuff I buy, so I end up selling it to get something else I think I will like. I am surprised I've kept my car so long. That dang 2010 Camaro looks sick...too common tho.
Check the classifieds I've got a ton of stuff for sale in there. I even have an R-Design center console that I decided doesn't fit into my new design project, and my blue evolve springs will be for sale in the next few weeks as well.

Re: (ForceFed Motorsports)

I'm getting turboah's KW Variant 2s for a pretty reasonable price...for once being AWD actually helped me since there are less AWD guys on here, there is always FWD stuff that I like.

Re: (ForceFed Motorsports)

Me too, lol. I am probably putting my paint plans on hold so I can afford the coilovers for now. I also want to do custom hood vents so I need time before the paint job to do that. I am taking my inspiration from this pic or the Heico hood:
