I just installed it, noticed a diff. as soon as I started the car..I like...I like!!! I know all about the vibes. people ask about, I don't think they are that bad at all.....my question is, do you "hear" more engine sound, almost like you have an intake, when you throw the BLUE mount in??

Re: Quick ? About Evolve Blue Mount (s60rdood)

I don't think that the blue bushing would make you hear anymore of the engine. I would say that I felt like I could hear a difference at first. Then I just realized that the extra "feedback" you get in the steering wheel after the install just amplifies your sensitivity to the engine (feel and sound). Make sense?

i think the evolve engine mount would be beneficial to me because when i drive with the stereo loud, sometimes i sit at a red light and since i can't hear/feel the engine revs, i sometimes end up revving to 2000-3000 as im starting to move. i think if i had more feedback from the engine, i could tell where my RPMs were

I like the mount because it got rid of most of that shake rattle and rolling the motor does when you shut it off.

dood... YES! you are hearing the engine vibration being transmitted through the entire engine bay, and therefore, the engine bay is amplifying the motor's overtones... the engineBAY is louder. Not in your head!
Yea... engine mount is only for the older ones

Re: (JOSBRO)

Mag- Yes, if your UPPER Motor Mount is round, it WILL fit, if it is square or any other shape, it WILL NOT.
JOS- Ok, so the engine noise IS louder...ok, that's one less thing I'll be "hearing in my head" eh, it doesn't bother me anyways, like I said, just sounds like the car has an intake now, so it's all good
