What are your thoughts on getting one? Pros / Cons. If I can't sell my R, I might just make it faster.

Re: Questions on the Evolve Power Package (frankhoffy)

Good performance gain, however its about 4000 installed or 3300 and a pain in the ass It changes the character of the car. The engine/exhaust note becomes omnipresent. If another 60 horses or so are worth the money and the sound to you, go for it. I was contemplating doing the same thing (can't sell it... so maybe i'll make it faster), but after seeing it in person I realized I didn't want the headache. I have enough problems with the volvo service department as it is. Seems like a great product though.

If you're worried about the dealer, talk to them first. Mine was perfectly fine with installing the exhaust, and they still do warranty work even though they know I have the software upgrade.

Re: (zigger)

My S60R is faster in the straight aways if you know and understand the limitations of turbo lag. However, the G35 has great linear power, the exhaust note is much better, and if equipped with good tires is great in the mountains. Overall, I prefer the S60R (comfort, power, options, looks, unique) but hanging out the rear end is sooooooooooo much fun in the G35. Also, the exhaust note in the G35 is fantastic. I do not look forward to getting rid of it.
