Having read a post(on the 850 Swedespeed forum) about issues with the cabin windows fogging up, and the cabin filter being a possible culprit, I decided to see when the cabin filter on my father's 850 was last replaced-it was some 30k ago. I looked at my parts place, and I am trying to figure out what the stock brand is. It is Bosch, Mann, or Hengst? I imagine since there is already one installed, I don't need the filter adapter. I guess my last question is where exactly is this filter located? Thank you

dont go to the dealer, order a charcol filter from FCPgroten.com, its higher quality then OEM and cheaper. Also its located about a foot back above the passenger front tire. You have to remove the wiper cover and its right there. Also I have never heard of an 850 that came with it OEM, so check to see if you have it, then your good, otherwise you need the adapter.

Re: (SDSUpaintballplayer)

Thanks for the help! My father had the adapter(and the first of many filters) installed some time back, so I am confident that all I need is the filter. I will consult with FCPgroten's website, and go from there. Thanks again
