my T4 didnt come with pre-ready grill / front bumper for front sensors.
i just bought a 16mm 4 sensors kit (with the best color match i could find).

I wonder if my dealer would do it. The first (and only) time I asked for any "upgrade", I just wanted a visor with HomeLink. They said they couldn't do it because of wiring harness issues :facepalm:. All the thing needs is 12V power, and the existing visor already had a light in it, so the wiring was was already there. I ended up doing it myself.

They probably had it confused with something else. Or maybe their general policy at this dealer is to not attempt these sorts of upgrades.

LOL, isn't HomeLink offered as an accessory anyway? Which dealer was this?

It was at Don Beyer in Falls Church.

That's where I go too. They are the ones that "installed" the USB map update software that didn't take, for whatever reason, but charged me anyway. But to be fair, Volvo's software update processes are flaky so I can see where a tech might have thought something was installed but wasn't. Still a simple software version verification would resolve that issue.
