Hello,

No chance it will fit unless you run a massive spacer. The Propus is also available in 17x7" and 17x7.5" sizes.

Even the Triton, Propus's big brother is 18x7.5" and will not fit without a massive spacer. I had to use a 20mm spacer to clear a BBK on my 850, due to the wheels' flat caliper design.

Re: (George @ ViVA)

Hmm,

Well thanks for the reply.
I kind of figured that as it would be a damn fine look and
surely someone else would have done it by now if possible.
I would gladly trade my Peg's for them if they fit.
(I hate the rub with 18's!!)

George, I ordered the Sport kit recently and noticed there was
no front spoiler or what would be part #2 available to select
when going through the VADIS list for Sport Kit, just 2A.

Can you provide some input on this?
Also, would you IM or email me what your price would be on
this please.

it's possible, just going to need spacers like George said. Not really a big deal IMO.

Other than the car will have the turning radius of a 250,000-ton tanker!

Not like it already doesn't

But, I must say that it appears Volvo is making efforts to improve the turning radius issue. The S80 has 245/40-18 tires with +55mm offset wheels...

I will be curious to know if any of the new (four of them) 18x8" wheels that will be optional on the 2007 S80 will fit the R models

Are you sure those are R's? If you'll notice, the shape of the side view mirror is the same as all 2003 and back P2 vehicles.

Re: (R Salesman)

Man, if those are pre-production R's I'll be really pissed.

Notice that the S60 version has a FRONT MOUNT! Why'd they get rid of it!

The S60 you can really see has the R lower valence in front. Much different than a stock S60.

Whoops, George and I posted at the same time.

Yeah, it's definitely a R bumper cover. It's most likely a pre-production test mule. That does not, however, entail that the vehicles seen above have the R's brembo brake calipers on them. And THAT is the big issues with regard to what other OEM wheels will fit on the R.

I believe those were regular S60's that were testing the airflow of the R's front end in desert conditions. Those cars were in Death Valley.

They probably decided that the FMIC was bad for the a/c condensor performance or something silly like that.

It's really painful to see that Front Mount in light of it getting warmer. My first spring with the R and there is a difference already.

Yeah, I'm working on a FMIC idea now for mine.
I've seen in the past on other FMIC projects that if adequate spacing is
made between it and the condensor, it's not a problem at all.
Most a/c systems that seem to have poor exchange w/o adequate flow
can be fixed with just insulating the a/c lines to prevent excess loss in
the engine bay. Simple foam tubes wraped around them works wonders.
There was a day a decade or two ago, ALL cars had this.
(The old R12 days)

Another trick that works is to tilt the FMIC top out where it's mounted.

Mike,

What you see as "2" is the front spoiler option for the standard S60/T5 models. On the R's, you use the existing front bumper with the "2a" added on. I will IM you a price for the "2a"pieces shortly.

Thanks George.
BTW: For those interested, George's prices are about online with employee
cost so unless you can get 40% off or better from your local dealer,
you'd be better off just going through him IMO.

Well, I ordered the Sport pk and side mouldings to do paint match of upper
door moulds from dealer and the invoice has these items listed.
39980713-0 Spoiler
399987391-8 Trim
399987377-7 Trim
399987419-7 Trim
399987405-6 Trim
39992442-2 Lid
Several sealing strip part #'s and..
8694936-9 End Pipe
39992448-9 Spoiler
39992447-1 Spolier
39992449-7 Spoiler
39992339-0 Moulding
39987447-8 Trim
39896399 Dirt Deflector
39896399 Dirt Deflector

I put the order together myself. Volvo does not have a nice kit # to order
to ensure everything comes in, it's kind of a piece meal ala-carte thing.

I'm wondering if I got everything needed?
I'm going to be taking it to the body shop soon but since I'm
getting a great deal on the paint and install, I don't want to have them
get halfway into it and find pieces are missing, does this look right to you?
