When you pop off the cap of an end joint on the propshaft this is what it should look like, nice and full of grease

The failure:






Luckily the joints are really easy to replace, just pop off the circlip and the clip on the boot and the joint slides right off. However the center carrier joint isn't particularly user replaceable, just these end joints. Colorado Driveshaft can sell you just the end universal joints or rebuild the whole thing if your center carrier bearing is bad too

O.K. GREAT START!! Now finish the replacement with more pics, (HAHAHA!!!) because I have to do this on my front joint for a 200 V70 XC I just bought on C.L. in about 2 weeks when I get paid!!!
