A few weeks ago we added a set of 19" Heico Volutions to our Project V70R, more details on those later. I thought I'd share a couple comparison picts:

It looks great! I just purchased a set of the 18's and the quality is second to none. Nice job

Re: Project V70R: 19" Heico comparison (mike_c70)

Advanced: only for freshly paved, smooth roads. Although, some may say that with the 18" Pegs.
Sport: a little firmer over the 18" Pegs; good on the highway; can be a good all around setting if you don't mind things on the firm side.
Comfort: good for highway cruising without worry of bridge or concrete separators or around town without feeling everything. - the wife & boss friendly setting

Re: Project V70R: 19" Heico comparison (ljjones)

And another thing. It's probably a minority opinion here, but I think the TME springs set the rear of a V70 too low. In my opinion the top line of the vehicle should be closer to horizontal, not sloping downward at the rear. The springs make it look like you're carrying a load of lumber or something. (I like the way that silver '05 sits better--it looks like you could actually load it up with some stuff.)
Or is it me?
Re: Project V70R: 19" Heico comparison (ljjones)

In the garage I do have some weight in the rear. The top pict and with the rear hatch empty it does sit level. i agree, the rear should not look like its sagging. (it measures even)
In a perfect world, I'd want the rear up about 1/4"-1/2" to give me height with weight in the rear - add some weight and it no longer sits level. It would also eliminate any sagging optical illusions with the rear fender curve.

My (prototypes) are about 1/4" or so higher in the rear, but thanks to YOU GUYS, TME made them 1/4" lower.
(Scott said that everyone wanted them a bit lower in the rear, personally I think mine are perfect)
I had 4 tires (and wheels) in the rear of mine last week, it sat level, dropped at least 1/4" perhaps a bit more.
Chris, IMO, yours is a bit too low in the rear by 1/4" to 3/8"

I don't remember a thread of Scott asking how we like the look and people's responses. I'm curious to see what people had to say back then. Personally, JRL's stance is PERFECT!!! I hope a revised or optional set will be available once my issues are resolved.

When ever you are ready to pull your springs let me know.
Is there any way to increase the height slightly yet still be safe?
