I recently become a happy owner of a -06 V70 2.5 T,(Magic blue)
Wonderfull car but a bit boring and not so extheticly appealing in orignial mode, most people would say. So I desided to do something about it.
Beeing a member on Swedespeed and always reading interesting posts (specially in the R forum) it wasnt hard to find inspiration.
I desided to go for the R look,wich gives a more appealing look
and aerodynamic feature .
So im starting a thread here to show whats been done,
so far in some hectic weeks here.
As I mentioned before I wanted to have a car with more appealing,
and aggresive look as the R cars are compared to the ordinary V70.
I didnt satisfy with only looks,also wanted some performance and handling to match eachother. So I popped in to Marco on TME for a visit to see what could be done.

B 5254 T2 (Man)

Whats been done so far for more effect:

*MTE ECU upgrade (stage 2)
* 3" downpipe, Racecat
* TME sportexhaust for the R modell.
* H&R 35mm springs, Bilstein struts

* Brembo calipers (front,back)
* 330 mm slotted rotors
* Kevlar brake pads

* 18" Pegasus R original (winter)
* Nokian hakka4 225/40-18

19" Bm Massa (summer)
* Míchelin PS2 235/40-19 (front) 245/40-19(rear)
* 10mm Eibach spacers

*R Front and rear bumper
*Painted rails and side mirrors
*Chrome side mirrors

running on stilts? even with 18".

Brembo calipers and slotted rotors:

Nice sound coming out frome theese pipes:

S60 R front mounted:

Philips Silvervision:

Silverstar foglights:

I guess this will add some more boost to it:

Some more air to it:

Upgrades to come:
*Yonaka Intercooler
*EVOLVE stainless steel brake lines
*Tinted windows
*Volvo 12"subwoofer.

Have some works to do this spring as u can see,thinking about tinting all windows to. But im not sure how dark it should be to look good and match the magic blue.

Now u ask ur self whats rong with this guy that didnt buy a real R instead,well with a insane price tag here in Sweden thats almost twice the price then in the US it didnt take long to deside what to go for.V70 is a nice car it just needs a few upgrades to be really fun:

Finally I would like say thanks to active members on swedespeed for inspiration and advise that have helped me on the way!
