For sale is my 2005 S60R M66. Nordkap Blue leather interior/mystic silver metallic exterior. This tastefully modded R has been a great car to me - but a job promotion led to me moving into Manhattan and parking is expensive! Currently at 171K miles - almost all highway commuting to Boston for work!
Details:
The car is in good condition, with a very very clean interior. The car pulls strong in each gear - starts up on the coldest of winter mornings and warmest of summer months. The front struts have a little bit over 80K miles on them and have no leaks). Rear shocks have a bit over 30K miles on them and are in good shape. I love the 'stiffer' ride on the Eibach springs (about 40K miles on them), but they can get a bit overwhelmed with NY rough road surfaces. I do have the stock springs for a more comfortable ride that I am including. The right front axle and angle gear were replaced with used, low mileage ones from Erie, and a new collar sleeve was done too (around 2 summers ago). Still have the old ones as I was thinking of having them rebuilt (given how tough it is to source new parts). The interior is in great shape for it's age. The driver's seat has no real bolster wear which is very impressive - yet shows the attention to detail that myself and the previous owner had when looking after it.
The 4C active suspension system (Comfort, Sport, and Advanced settings) all work perfectly - I tend to leave it on the Sport setting most of the time since the roads by me are very smooth. Mechanically, the car needs nothing. With service just done, she should be good until the next oil change (every 3k miles). I have reciepts of all the work done to the car, she's been maintained to the highest degree as I always intended on keeping the car for the long run.
The exterior is 07/10, simply due to the rock chips on the front bumper and some minor scuffing on the rear bumper area. The car has always been garaged under my ownership - there is no present sun damage. The windshield weather-stripping could use replacement.
Included with the car: 2 Sets of wheels included with the car: summer wheels 18-inch Pegasus 5-spoke are in decent condition with minimal rash - could be refinished down the road. The winter setup 17-inch Pegasus 5-spoke has some rash in various spots - more than the summers. That being said, both sets are straight and well balanced. The summer wheels have Conti ExtremeContact Sport tires in good shape and the winter set is Dunlop Winter Maxx (< 10K miles).
OEM Volvo Ski Roof Box - this was sourced by the prior owner and as soon as I saw it... I loved it. It looks perfectly OEM with this era of Volvo and has been utilized for various trips to Boston.
Stock parts are also included with the sale - I have kept the stock springs and other parts that can be used to put this car back to the OEM of 2005.

Eibach pro lowering springs, IPD sway bars, IPD adjustable rear toe rods, IPD rear camber bushing kit, Delrin front subframe bushings, IPD SS brake lines, IPD transmission torque and upper engine mount, Motorsport spacers (10mm and 12mm), Ti brake shims. IPD downpipe and catback exhaust, IPD tune, Snabb big FMIC - Sounds great! Perfect amount of sound when you want without being noisy/drony on highway The following is the most recent maintenance work (during the last year or 2): New clutch, flywheel and slave- 11/2021 New battery installed - 11/2021 New starter installed - 04/2022 Coil packs, spark plugs, oil change, and new Mass Airflow Sensor done - 05/2022 Rear discs, brake pads, and parking shoes were put over last summer. Front discs and pads about a year ago. Complete PCV job (OEM) a year ago. Preventative last year: New thermostat assembly, new MAP Sensor and FPS, new to me (used) PEM.
OEM Volvo Bike Roof rack - this was also sourced by the previous owner and mounts on the roof. Again a great example of this S60R's transporting capabilities - can be negotiated into the sale
Car has a clean Carfax, Title IN HAND, essentially 2 owners since new. Almost all documentation, ready for the next caretaker.
