I now need to part with my super clean 1986 244i. If you were local to me I'd buy it....<p>You can fix the rough running on cold by replacing the fuel injector seals, cleaning the flame trap and cleaning the throttle body. Also, check the ignition wiring and make sure that the "stovepipe" is in one piece.

It's fixed now. The MAF had some corosion and a new vacuum leak had developed.
