So we're supposed to conclude, according to Edmunds, that the 90-series T6 engine in the SUVs requires premium but the wagons don't???

Surprised to know Volvo is one of the least prepared companies for E15! Hope E15 doesn't become a norm in the future.

I can't imagine there's a modern turbo or twin charged engine that isn't primarily set-up for 91 or 93 AKI as the norm, with 87 being only when there's no other choice and the result is reduced power.

Even most normally aspirated engines today have maps intended for premium fuel (best performance and efficiency) and maps for lower grade fuels.

E15 is coming this summer in the US so what is the line from Volvo? Volvo USA?
Recently saw someone in Europe that was trying E15 there. They mentioned that Volvo would void a warranty due to E15 use.
That's going to make things pretty difficult here.
Anybody know?

Although not at all preferred, it's easy enough to remove ethanol from gasoline and bring it back to its pure unleaded form. If push comes to shove, it's something anyone can do!
