while on a trip out of town my wife informed me that on our 99 v70 glt the driver's side control switch will lower the the right front passenger window but will not raise it up. You have to reach across and use the passenger switch.
Is it time for a new drivers side module? I'm leaning toward just not lowering the window from the driver's side.

I can lower the passenger rear window, but I can't raise it. This is a common problem. Try removing the master module and thoroughly clean it with electrical contact cleaner. SOme people have reported this works, although it may only be temporary and a full replacement may be necessary.
Honestly, to me, it isn't something I worry about too much. Unless the window won't go up at all even with the switch belonging to it, I figure just save the money and put it towards something else.

Re: power window issues (dwehking)

Sometimes cleaning works, if not you need a new master switch

My 94 855 does this too. I'm thankful for the rear window lock to keep the kids from rolling the windows down.
