Anyone have any idea what might be wrong with my window?

My passenger window rolls down fine, but when I roll it up it gets about halfway then sounds like it labors until it automatically rolls back down. I can hold the switch and force it through the part where it labors but I'm afraid it will get worse if I don't do something about it now. This started when I had the local tint shop fix the rubber lining on the inside of the window (they left it inverted http://********************/smile/emthdown.gif ). I hope there is a simple fix and I won't be looking for a motor. Any ideas?

It kind of sounds like the motor is sensing that it's pinching someone in the window and is backing off. If you pull the door panel you might be able to find something if it's obvious.

One way would be to take it back and ask them to fix it... but if you're doing it yourself...

Basic instructions: take apart handle that you grab when closing your door from inside, the backing pops off.
remove 3 torx screws from door in handle area
pop panel off starting at one spot and working your way around. I recommend starting near the rear of the car part of the door.
