Before I get jumped on, I performed a search for this topic and came up empty.
My steering makes a quiet (i.e. - if the windows are open or if the stereo is on or if I'm at speed, I can't hear it) hissing/bubbling noise as I turn the wheel either way. Whenever I've heard this sound in past vehicles, it's meant that there's a leak in the power steering system, and that there are air bubbles in the system.
Wondering if this sound is normal for R's, and if it's not, if anyone else has experienced this.
Thanks for your patience with the new guy...
mds

Re: Power Steering Hissing/Bubbling? (Moneypenny)

Not normal at all. Take it in. I am sure it is a loose hose or just the new pump priming itself. If it is not leaking. give it a day or 2. Then have the dealer look at it.

And NEVER go to Kline Volvo. Strictly stay with Borton. They will take good care of you. If you are going to mod this car, let me know. I have some really good guys that have done great work on my car. Enjoy, Rick
