Hey everyone. I just got my phuzzy dp installed and I wanted to see how everyone elses turned out. I am not sure mine was fabricated correctly and want to see how everyone elses lines up when installed.
I would really appreciate pics of the welds, and the exhaust hanger after installation. After a few others post up pics, and I can compare, I'd be happy to post some pics of my new dp and a clip of the dp and TME exhaust mated.
Also, how many of you installed gaskets on both the turbo and the cat back flanges?

Not to threadjack, but I was doing my exhaust, and I thought the downpipe would be a real bitch to install. How is it?

I was looking at the Phuz DP myself. I noticed that it comes with a cat.
Would it be possible to get a catless DP and in place of the second 02 sensor just put a sensor extender (the one from eBay) which eliminates the CEL?! has that been done before?!
Thanks

Let it heat cycle a few times and it will be fine.
Questions for you:
Did you remove your bracket?
Did your installer compare the stock and Phuz DP, or take some preliminary measurements first?
Did you put any gaskets on, and are the hangers level?
Why don't you post pics of yours now? It's your thread, you do it.

Re: Post pics of your Phuzzy DP (BeerEngineer)

Phuz installed mine since we live relatively close. The only two "issues" that came up was the hanger bracket being short on one side by like a 1/2" inch, and the bar did not extend completely out of the hanger, woopidy doo. Also, I had some vibration for the first day or so, then once the flex portion broke in, it fits like a glove
My Phuz DP is in my living room. My debate: Do I install now or when my VIP is done in 20,000 miles.... Hmm.

Easy mod, and changing out DP's takes about 30 minutes.
Add the CEL eliminator and you won't get a CEL. It's an amazing difference - pulls all the way to red-line even when the temps are high.
Good CEL eliminator here:
http://www.inlinefour.com/blcelelad.html

Just like IPD, ViVA, Eurosport...it is 3" high flow and yields the same performance benefits. I believe the stock is 2.5" (at the most). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: (phuz)

Thank for this info.
So basically, we need to ask Phuz to develop a catless DP for those who don't need a cat.
Phuz, what do you say? If the price can come down by 200 or so - it's well worth it.
