Hi Guys

Ok so I am planning to get the V70 lowered. Ipd has the lowering springs for it. My questions :

1. Is it an easy swap that a regular mech can do this ?
2. Anything else needs to be done as we do this swap ?
3. Should i replace the shock absobers too ?

I want this to be as least expensive as I can as the car gets older . Thank you all for any input. Happy Holiday !

Kindest,
Warren

Most regular mechanics and many tire store mechanics can do the work. If you have a mechanic you trust, just ask them.

2 & 3 depend a lot on your car. How many miles are on the existing suspension pieces?

I ran lowering springs on stock shocks for the last 3 years, very comfortable.

If you want to see exactly the labor involved in changing springs, click the V70 link in my signature. On page 2 or 3 of that thread I document the job.
