Is there any way to pop the trunk while the car is running? I hope this isn't a really stupid question but I've owned the R for several months and have not found a trunk release butten except for the one on the key. The button doesn't work when the car is started. Seems like a reall bad design.

All I do is push the door lock button twice. The first push unlocks the drivers door only and the second push unlocks the other doors and the trunk.

I hope that helps.

not trying to be a jerk, but you do know that their is an exterior trunk release above the license plate, correct? As long as the car is unlocked, that works.

I think it's time you read your owners manual, just in case you don't have one here is a link to it; http://new.volvocars.com/loyalty_v2/ol_01_t7.asp#

LOL I did - cover to cover. It wasn't in there! Really! Yes - I probably should have been able to figure it out on my own - BUT in my defense it's been very cold out so I havn't detailed the outside of the car yet.

I find your humility and candor refreshing... http://********************/smile/emthup.gif
