hey

i havent posted in awhile, but just wanted to share that my poor volvo was the victim or a hit and run today. i was running errands all day and noticed as i was leaving walgreens that someone had put a huge nasty dent on the driver's side. it looks like while i was parked like in a street with the driver's side facing out someone was backing out and hit me with their bumper. one of those kind of hits. regardless, i'm pissed. i've been such a good driver. no accidents, no speeding tickets, no parking tickets, nothing for 2 years and its all these @sshole drivers who **** me off.

also my air conditioning is being really weird. warm weather just started so i just started using my AC and first of all its only blowing like lukewarm air and second of all when i turn sometimes it makes this awful screeching sound and you can hear like water running and then water comes dripping down the passenger side of the car. so volvo is going back to the shop on monday for more repairs...

Our project 245 has a similar dent in the back right side, presumably from a parking lot idiot. Sorry to hear about your car.

It sounds like you have been very unlucky with your volvo as of late. Whenever I park at a store, I try my best to find a spot far away from the moms driving huge luxury SUVs. I have been lucky so far, but I still carry ALOT of insurance to make sure I don't get stuck paying thousands for someone else's carelessness.

Good luck with the air conditioning thing, it sounds expensive.

I'm pretty sure it was the new neighbors across the street who put that nasty gash in my car. Half of me is tempted to take a hammer to their minivan.

I would like to clarify that the screeching/dripping with the air conditioning only occurs on left turns. that includes slight left shifts of the car. god this car is so quirky.

and am i still the only girl who posts at swedespeed??

Not that I'm encouraging vandalism, but I have a half gallon racid milk and few rotten eggs at your disposal if you want.

I think you might want take it to an independent Volvo shop or AC shop to take care of that problem. Doesn't sound too kosher to me.

We should probably do a poll here to find out exactly how many female members we have. It's not possible that we only all male members or readers.

You guys are so bad... (I'd remove the valves from their tires too...)... I'd never condone (I like the egg idea) such conduct... and I'd be upset (...that you'd beat me to it) if that happened to me. >;-)
