What do u guys think? I think someboady has done it before but cant remember who. It was really pain in the butt. Since my company was going slow and I was home most of the time I did it. Total cost around 25$.

It looks awesome, I'm proud of you for not wasting a ridiculous amount of money on the ipd grille, where they basically do the same thing.

Re: Poor mans DIY Mesh Grille (Helmut Ranff)

Can you give some directions?
I image using the stock grille, cutting out the existing plastic and sash, then installing the new mesh. But, how to get the new mesh to stay connected without it looking like ricey crap?

Re: (sh8kdwn)

I did one of these as well but ended up going back to the stock grill painted. It opened up the front grill too much for me and I think the original grill painted looks more agressive. You did a good job with it by the way!

Re: Poor mans DIY Mesh Grille (s140s)

Your mesh looks totally amazing! My mesh is coming of the frame...(just on one side). Do you think it can be crazy glued, glue gunned.... what would work to fix it? Any tips??

Re: (FastR)

FastR, where did you get your grill material? I need some mesh for my FMIC, but I don't want to use the Home Depot roof grating stuff.
