So after searching around for control arms since my bushings are wearing out I stumbled upon these polyurethane control arm bushing on eeuroparts.com, they are made by pro parts sweden which supposedly used to be scan tech. I understand scan tech is not a very trusted or supported brand however has anyone ever had any experience with anything polyurethane from them especially their control arm bushings?

I know they look like regular bushings however that is just a stock image of regular bushings, they really look like the ones that are at the bottom of the page on their website shown here:

I would just keep my stock control arms as aftermarkets tend to be a hit or miss plus I dont mind swapping in some new bushings over christmas break while I have some time.

Awesome good to know! My main concern was fitment so thats good to know that youve had a bit of experience with them as well. I think I will order these in a couple weeks and do them over Christmas break then and get it out of the way.

nice find. I think i may have seen these on Partsforvolvosonline.co.uk

I paid WAY more for the rear position one from superpro since they were the only game in that market at the time and i still haven't installed em. At that price they are well worth a try. Let us know how it goes. No excuses about cold weather either :p

Hmm, nice find. I was pissed cause my cheap control arms wore out after one year, I wonder if these would be all I need to refresh and bring them back to life. I agree it's worth a shot at those prices. Are the bushings removable on all brands of control arms or only stock?

Impulse922- I have a neighbor with a heater in his garage whose son wants to learn about cars so he offered to let me use his garage anytime this winter free of charge and teach his son as I go so its a good deal since I dont even have a garage. So no excuses for cold weather!

Njgreenbudd- You should be able to remove bushing on all control arms not only stock, especially since they put these bushings in a control arm they have for sale on the pro parts sweden website. However there is always that risk that they wont if its an aftermarket control arm and they decided to use a slightly smaller or larger control bushing. What brand are they? Most likely if they sell the bushings to put in a stock control arm in that same brand separately then I would think that any bushing made for the stock control arm would fit in that aftermarket control arm.

Interested in the quality/fitment if you do put them in. I was thinking about getting the whole arm though;

Yeah I thought about the whole arm but then I saw horror stories about some aftermarket control arms not having the right dimensions and causing to the toe to be thrown off. So I think I'll just stick with the volvo arms. But this is at the top of my list right after the R bumper conversion stuff so should have it in about a month when im home from school.
