Purveryors of violent Volvos, Polestar, are ready for the 2016 World Touring Car Championship season start next week and to get you ready they’ve released a video all about their car.

The Polestar Cyan Racing team is running two S60s that have been heavily modified for the championship.

The cars are propelled by Volvo’s 4 cylinder Drive-E engine, which has been modified to produce 390 hp. According to Volvo, it will be the only production based race engine on the WTCC grid this year.

Despite that, the team is right on pace, consistently posting top three times at this year’s first official pre-season test, held earlier this month.

This is promising since Volvo are only in the first season of a multi-year racing program. The goal this year, says Cyan Racing CEO Christian Dahl, is only to learn the ropes.

The racing will begin next weekend at the Circuit Paul Ricard in France.
