Polestar Racing Cyan's Richard Göransson had two perfect races this weekend, winning twice at Falkenberg. He now leads the driver's championship going into the series' summer break, with teammate Robert Dahlegren hot on his heels in second place.

This weekend at Falkenberg was pivotal in the season as second-place Dahlgren didn't manage to finish either of the two races, earning only 18 points (through qualifying) as compared to Goransson's perfect 75 points.

Goransson was by no means gifted his points, though. He led the tricky first race in the rain from start to finish and in the second he worked his way up through the field from his tenth place starting position, eventually winning by nine seconds.

"This has been an amazing weekend where the team has given me a perfect car and I have not put a wheel wrong," said Goransson. "The feeling is great to head into the summer break in the lead."

Dahlgren, meanwhile, was crashed into in the first race and was forced to retire from the second race after suffering a puncture.

Prince Carl Philip, also racing in light blue, got his best result of the season, with an eighth place finish in the weekend's first race and a fourth place finish on Sunday.

"This has been a chaotic race weekend with a lot of ups and downs," said His Highness. "I feel that we could have got more from the weekend, but I am still pleased with my Q1 result and fourth in the second race."

The next race is in a little more than a month at Kanonloppet on August 14.
