We had a good thread on PLX devices a few months ago. One of the options was this wireless device that plugs in the OBDII port and broadcasts to an iPhone. Here's the link:
http://www.plxkiwi.com/kiwiwifi/
It looks interesting but am reluctant due to quality of graphics, difficulty reading the iPhone screen while driving, and cost. The IPD analog boost gauge will probably be my default choice.
Any experience or opinions on the PLX Kiwi?

Well, as ever, through the OBD port you wont be able to get boost data. With the standalone plx obd gauge, you can add inputs and use a dedicated boost line. So this is definitely cool, but i think for the R, its not their best product.

I agree with Joe for boost and maybe for the R/Volvo, its not the best but....
this kiwi WIFI would be pretty cool for people with carputers in any type of car. Adhoc WIFI to your PC/Laptop and you access PIDS! Cool. I don't, however, buy the whole Iphone app thing....kinda a gimmick IMO

Has anyone installed a DM-100 or DM-200 PLX gauge in an R car? They look FANTASTIC. http://www.plxdevices.com/

Have you looked into the REV APP for the iPhone/iPod? If not, you might want to check it out.
http://www.devtoaster.com/products/rev/

I am leaning toward an electronic multi-function single gauge. Just need to determine which product is best suited for the R. It would be ideal to have the ability to display Boost, Oil Temp, water temp, IAT, and A/F Ratio through one device discretely mounted in the HU cubby, for example.
