Please post pics if you have Heico, Eibach, or H&R springs

I know the Heico lower the vehicle 1.2"
Eibach lowers down 1.2"
H&R lowers down 1.4"

I just wanted to see some pics of cars that JUST HAVE the springs...no coil-overs. Also state if you have to buy a camber kit or not.

Thanks!

Eibach pro kit, OEM performance handling package, I DO have camber arms (they were absolutely necessary. I could not drive it without having them installed.) I think the back needs to be dropped a bit more...

But those are coil-overs right?
Re: (USAF 2010 T5)

Nope. Straight springs. The perfomance handling package was an option from Volvo... Handling is decent, but nothing like you'd get from coilovers...

Camber's needed?
Re: (USAF 2010 T5)

haven't got a camber kit, but I think that tire wear is not that bad, because I still have 16" wheels... might be worse with 18" or so... ?!
(just my guess)
I've experienced tire wear not much different to the stock height...

heico coilovers = amazing!

i know you said no coil overs but if you can afford them they are the way to go.

Haven't noticed any excessive tirewear with the negative camber at rear.
Besides my rear wheels wouldnt fit without camber - 8x18" ET30

Agreed. But here's a couple of more options you didn't list in your post.

KW V2 Coilovers

Evolve Springs

what type of side skirts are those? evolve? i think evolve does not have the curve on it.

I have H&R... love them. I also have the rear camber arms. I don't see how anyone would lower the S40 without putting those arms on. Even with the adjustable arms it still not perfect, without the camber kit it's ridiculous how much the tires lean in. The tire cupping gets pretty bad very quickly.

H&R Springs...

how wide were ur tires MAtt? did you also roll your fenders?
Re: (Vash13)

Tires were 235's and I did NOT roll the fenders. I did get some slight rubbing when the car was full of people and I took a corner a little too hard.

Will the C30 Eibach lowering springs fit our S40s? I checked tirerack and the Eibachs for the S40 lower the car 1.2" in both front and rear, while the ones for the C30 will lower it 1.2" front and 1.7" rear. Given that our car's fender gap in the rear is much wider, those sound like a better choice (IF they fit). Anyone?

Don't know, but I'm sure IPD would be able to tell you. They carry Eibach stuff. Can anyone get in touch with Lucky for us and see?

This car's stance looks pretty good. The owner say the springs are Evolve 1.3" F , 1.5" R , though I can't find those specs in the Evolve site.
