Well I can sleep peacefully on this stormy night
thanks to an extremely nice dealer in Brooklyn.
They took me in at 5:30 and got me out at 6:00.
The problem was the driver side switch assembly and they had
one in stock. Done under warranty = : )
Thank God it wasn't the regulator like GShyne said it may be or I
would be one unhappy puppy.
My advice to all C70 owners : do yourself a favor and buy a driver side
switch assembly and keep in a safe place for a rainy day. For little over
one hundred bucks it makes a lot of sense. This is my second switch.

How Lucky Am I Today !!!!!!!

You ain't Kidding G. I don't want to even think what may have happened
if the makeshift tarp would of come off in the middle of the night and
the deluge poured into the car. Possible damage to leather, vinyl, seat electronics, dash electronics. door mechanisms, etc. etc .
And toboot my daughter informed me that she upgraded her report card
from a 94 to a 99 average. It was a nice day afterall.
rd

Re: Please Help! Power Window Down And It's Raining..... (GShyneDM)

Thanks G,
I'm from New York and I wish I had a garage. Lucky to have a driveway.
No mods but will do in the future. My warranty is up soon. After that I will
get a little more serious about mods. Little at a time. State inspection concerns me a little so I want to do much homework on chips and cat backs before I take the plunge. I have been asking IPD for years when they going to crack the 1999 code and I think they just did. I always give alot of time for new anything to get the bugs out.
My mode wish list :
ABS Mesh grill from IPD [ already have the eyebrows ]
Strut tower brace
Anti Sway bars
Boost Gauge
IPD Sport Springs
I want to Chrome my Canistos [ but wanna find The Best plater around ]
Brembo Pads and Rotors or equivilent
Clear Headlights [ maybe, let's see what the trailblazer's say ]
IPD Poly Mount Bushing [ already blew 2 oem's with only 30 k miles ]
IPD CHip and Cat Back Exhaust
Aero Kits [ wish MS-Design would take a chance and make em for c70 ]
What Else?
I figure this should take about 20 years. I'm in no rush.
I have my K&N sitting in the garage as I heard some reports of sensors
getting messed up from the oil. I did not feel any noticeable kick from it so
I said why not stay OEM.
rd 99 cpe

[Modified by RD, 3:27 AM 11-15-2002]
