I was bored and decided to take some pictures of the turbo for anyone that hasn't looked under the car yet. I give up, I tried scalling the pics from the hosting site and it didn't change anything. Once again sorry for them being so big.

I think there should be enough room under there for a decent turbo and manifold swap. Provided I save the money to do it.

Yeah, I started an old thread back in late summer of 2005 on this very subject, that the turbo was a K04 and too damn small.<p>Lots of good information in that old post, search for "KO4 turbo" and it should pop up.<p>I have all new hardware sitting downstairs in the garage and I'm in the process of building my own custom manifold<br>

It maybe easy enough to run a R manifold and a 90 degree steam pipe weldEl to place at GT28RS turbo on. looks to be more then enough room.

Nope, won't work.<br>I already looked at this route. THe R manifold has two bolts on the right side that are completely different angle from the S40 manifold. It won't bolt up at all. S40 manifold also uses two more bolts than the R manifold though that could have been worked around.<p>No worries though, I already have all the flanges necessary as well as pipe bends. I'm just missing a wastegate but I'll be getting that soon.
