Let's try this again...
Here's the Sleeping Beauty. One point for each little mod you find.
10 points for spotting the error (not the hankey in the door pocket).
The camera phone does not do justice to the color, it is much better live.

Re: (GuelphVolvo)

got the lights and moldings, can't figure out what is in front of the light switch. Looks like it is a switch to turn something else on.

NOt to mention the radar detector my the mirror. Wonder if whatever that is on the driver's mirror is related to the button by the light switch? Don't know if the car came with headlight wipers or not, don't know enought about options on each year.

I see neither. There's something about that bumper cover....
With a light color like that, the black plastic on the bottoms of the mirrors really stands out. I would paint them to match.

Re: (VTT5)

I ordered this car in Nov 2000, and at least then the headlight washers were not part of the climate package. But Gunilla is OSD, and the packages might have been different. So it's not the wipers. The bumper cover does not align perfectly, I will have to work on it still, but there's something else funky with the front end, that I hope will go unnoticed. It's not easy to see in the pictures, but possible if you know what to look for.
The mirrors, dang, you made me think about them again. Now I'll need to start hunting for '05 mirror housings. I have not seen the lower parts painted, but I am thinking it would make the mirror look too fat.
There are two things in the interior that have not been pointed out and two rather big things in the exterior. I am not considering ding removal as a mod

Re: (Mika)

I'm going to go for what I think are the "mods" to this particular S60; since AWD was not available in 2001 and the rims appear to be from an AWD vehicle, I'm going to say that. Looking at the interior, was that style of geartronic shifter available in 2001? If I remember in 2001 it was some ball shifter kind of thing and what is pictured looks like something more current.

Re: (S60 t5er)

Looks like you got the Hu-613 with the premium speaker door panels (maybe standard on OSD?). Aftermarket wood inlays on radio and center console.
besides the painted moldings and new style headlights I don't see any other "mods" on the front, if there are, they're apparently well concealed.
nice car for sure.

Re: (pico de luuks)

The door panels, shifter, wheels and bumper covers are original. The front moulding comes in three pieces, but the rear does not. I was cut for transport. The exhaust is not just the tip, it's IPD catback.
The correct 'mod' list so far detected:
- Painted mouldings
- Headlights
- Dash kit
- Exhaust
- Radar detector with hidden wiring
- Control button, which is for concealed Bluetooth.
The last two visible ones are hard to see in the pictures, but can be seen.
Non visible mods
- BSR ECU software
- Sound proofing in rear light openings for exhaust drone
- Bilstein shocks
- Powerflex engine mount bushes, which do not quite fit the FWD model and had to be modified
- K&N air filter

What's the button to the right of the STC button for?
Can't see any further mods on the outside..maybe some (very subtle) lowering springs.

Re: (pico de luuks)

That button is for locking the trunk.
But bingo for the lowering springs. The rear is really subtle, maybe 0.5 inch.
That's the last one for the outside, if not counting the little convex mirror.
The whole idea is that you're supposed to think 'a nice Volvo' but not notice that the car has any modifications unless you're an aficionado.
