The rumble bee only comes in a short bed. Besides, the short bed is easier to maneuver.

The turning radius on that truck is 36.9 feet, believe it or not. With the 8 foot bed, it jumps to 44.2 feet.

This bed is 6.3 feet long. A quad fits in there just fine. I also have a sliding rear window in case I have to fit some lumber back there. I like it

That's my dad's place. He added on that carport. Supposedly the cedar shakes will blend in with the rest of the roof as they age.

of topic sry, but is that a 2nd sat-dish in last photo (beside house and under the one on the roof)? If so, how big is it (looks like 2m (+6feet)?) and for what does your dad use it? I too got 2 sat-dish setup (1m and 1.2m wide), both are sofar only for tv-reception, think I will use 1 in future for internet, but sofar 5Mbit-connection (cable) is fast enough, can upgrade it even 1st to 10Mbit (10€/month extra)..

The do look nice, too bad you don't use the truck for it's intended purpose as those sand bags would be flying all over the place.
Chevy SS has been AWD for a couple of model years now.

Just a standard Dish Network satellite. I haven't signed up for satellite internet yet. I get dial-up for free anyway.

Those sandbags are heavy. Plus, the line-x coating is rubberized and keeps that stuff in place pretty well.

I have really put that truck through its paces though peformance-wise. I have spun it out and got it to go sideways plenty of times. During the winter though, I'm trying to keep the spinning out to a minimum

It is one fast truck though that's for sure.

I should do the same for my R and my truck. I have a GMC Sierra 'xtended cab Z71. Blue/Silver. Love that truck, but it can't stack up to the beast it replaced. I lost a customized '89 chevy K1500 2 years ago in the same garage fire that claimed my prized '69 Camaro (god I miss that car....still brings a tear to my just thinking or writing about it). I had custom headers, 2 high flow cats and 3" Flowmaster race mufflers on that truck. It roared like none other. I loved being able to roast 33x12.5 tires off the back without powerbraking. Got kind of expensive though, I was running Mickey Thompson radials. I swear they use the same tread compound thats in their slicks, so soft http://********************/smile/emthup.gif .

anyway....I'll see if I can post a shot here of both my vehicles one of these days. No chance of it right now with my R up on blocks

That's the first Denali with stock rims I've seen in some time. Frank, quite a contrast between your truck and S60. Both look great together though.

It's a lease. Besides, it is truck. Not a bling-bling ride

I use it for skiing and mountain biking into the deep woods in the Pacific NW. Nope, no 22 inch wheels for me. Personally I think it looks gaudy.

Trucks were pure beasts of burden in my youth. Dents, rust, manure & mud. They weren't sexy in rural Iowa in the '60s & '70s. You'd rather drive the family station wagon on a Saturday night to pick up chicks than the pickup. I guess I've never mentally got past that. SUVs have always struck me as the family truckster with the added "benefits" of vertical instability, poor gas mileage and lethargic performance. And they are always in my way when I'm trying to drive my sports sedans in the spirit they were intended to be driven!

It is one fast truck. It has actually thrown me back in the seat.

I haven't tried to race anybody, so I can't tell you how it would do. Once you hit the corners though, forget about it.
