I've got a tough decision to make and was wondering if anyone has any pics of their pegasus rims painted in the Duplicolor shades offered in the High Performance Wheel Coating. They offer a Silver, Graphite, Bronze and Satin Black. I have an 04 Titanium Grey S60 R and am unsure on the contrasts that will result from painting the rims any of these colours.
I've sanded and spot puttied the couple bad spots from the previous owners curb rash and am ready to prime and paint.
Does anyone have any pics of their Duplicolor painted Pegs to share that would help a fellow SS member make a tough decision?
Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest using their engine enamel paint instead.

What was awful, the choice of colour or quality of paint?

Re: Pics of Duplicolor Painted Pegasus Rims (xman03)

Hmmm, I had read and heard in a Duplicolor product video that the paint contains some added reflective material. Grrrr..... Did you use heavier coats or several thinner coats. Just trying to understand fully if it is a paint issue or an application issue, no offense, sometimes I get rushed and figure eff-it it will look good, only to see the end result not being what I expected due to rushing.
Have you used the Duplicolor Engine Enamel? I see it is oil and gas resistant and must be rated to handle temeratures from braking int that its for engine parts. So it must be ok for the wheels as those would be the major concerns for being resistant to the abuse that wheels are exposed to.

Yeah after I tried the wheel paint, I went ahead and painted mine with Dupli Color low gloss engine enamel. Very durable paint and goes on very evenly.
