Personal Car Settings?

Has anyone changed their "Personal Car Settings" before? From what I understand, these are "kits" that the dealer programs to your car to change certain functions with the alarm, locks and heated seats.

I'm most interested in these:

FUNCTION FOR DIRECT UNLOCKING¹ (EU functionality)¹
Part. No. 9452949

Allows you to change the unlocking function of your car.

One-stage unlocking means that all doors and the tailgate/trunk lid are unlocked by a press the UNLOCK button on the remote control once. 2 stage unlocking means that the first press on the remote control UNLOCK button will unlock the driver's door only. A second press is required to unlock the remaining doors.

To this day cars built for the USA and Canada have been supplied with 2-stage unlocking. Cars built for other countries are supplied with one-stage unlocking.

FUNCTION FOR FLASH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT / ADD¹
Part. No. 9452947

Allows you to add or remove the visual confirmation signal to your car. This function makes the car's direction indicators flash once on locking if all doors are closed, and twice on unlocking.

FUNCTION FOR AUTOMATIC LOCKING / ADD¹
Part. No. 8637410

Makes it possible to retrofit or remove the automatic locking function in your car. This function automatically locks the doors in the normal way (not deadlocking) when vehicle speed exceeds 7 km/h (4.3 mph). If the doors are unlocked using the central locking button while the car is moving they remain unlocked until the ignition key is removed from the ignition switch. If the door is opened from the inside, when exiting the car for example, the door is locked again when the vehicle speed exceeds 7 km/h (4.3 mph).

An open door will not be locked. The doors are not unlocked automatically when the speed falls below 7 km/h (4.3 mph).

I tried to get the single click unlock function on my car, but it was a DEALER ONLY software upgrade. An independent Volvo shop with a full subscription to VIDA was not allowed to purchase and install it. I thought that was pretty dumb so I still push it 2 times.

All require software and labor so none of these are "adjustments" nor are they called "kits".
The only things that do not require software are Seat HEAT adjustment and DRL removal.

I stopped by the dealership and enquired about the settings. The parts guy knew what I was talking about and gave me the following prices (in CAD):

FUNCTION FOR DIRECT UNLOCKING (EU functionality) - Part. No. 9452949
$30.76 + 0.3 hr labour

FUNCTION FOR FLASH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT / ADD - Part. No. 9452947
$31.84 + 0.3 hr labour

FUNCTION FOR AUTOMATIC LOCKING / ADD - Part. No. 8637410
$32.23 + 0.3 hr labour

I have an appointment set up next week and will update afterwards. Hopefully everything goes smoothly
