Read about it before...didn't believe it...too stupid to be true...finally tried it today on the R trim that had a streak or two of wax here and there. Nothing would take it off up until now. Whipped out the jar of Jif (creamy style) and buttered it up. Streaks came right off. I even dragged the wife out to the garage for a demo, and she immediately pronounced me insane for even noticing white streaks on the trim.
What I want to know is who connected these two dots...who first thought of wax streaks and said "Hey, I know... I'll try peanut butter." ?
Re: Peanut butter? Yes! (TomW)

'tis true! I learned of this on the Sport Trac forum (that was my last vehicle). My husband thought I was nuts. He tried mineral oil on his car but it didn't work. I keep saying "Peanut Butter!!!!!!!"
