Hey,
So I'm almost done my swap. I've got a 98 T5 which threw a rod... So the new motor is out of a 99 XC, and it's GOT VVT. So the headaches begin.
So far I've finished up everything (swapping manifolds, swapping to disty, swapping all of the t5 stuff on)
The problem
So now I seem to have a problem with the PCV system. First the front crank seal started to leak. Now I just popped a cam seal right out of the head. It seems that Im building pressure in the PCV/ Crankcase and blowing out seals.
NOW I know that the PCV on the 99 is quite a bit differently than on the 98. I used all of the 98 hoses, cannister etc.
Anyone have any ideas? I keep poping random oil seals.
Thanks!
Brandon
