Certainly not a big deal, but when I drive alone (which is most of the time) the seatlbelt makes noise as it moves around. Anyone else consider some type of clip on the b-pillar or maybe even velcro? I assume everyone else hears this as well.

Re: Passenger side seatlbelt rattle (flybynight)

I have the same thing going. I haven't narrowed it down yet, but I really don't think it's the seatbelt; I think it's the passenger seat or headrest rattling. I wonder if there is a TNN on this?!

This was one of the first things other than wheel/tire rub that bothered me. After joining this forum I realized that I was not alone. One person recommended buckling it. I find that repositioning it usually works but it is an annoying quirk in design.

Buckling it in can give you a higher repair-bill if accident -> belt-tensioner will go off and lock the belt and if I recall it's not just a VADIS-click to "unlock" it anymore.
2nd...you passanger can get lazy and will not use the belt so just sit in seat unsecured

Design fault (you didn't called it that way but you were thinking of it)?!?!?!
all car's have THAT rattle when the iron-key hits the plastic B-pillar ... I call it a lazy-uncareing-passenger that just unlock the belt and gives sh*t about your car
... or you, I always check the belt(s) after the passenger(s) left
coz I know it will hit the B-pillar if not rewinded correctly.

I use two small peices of velco on mine. Put it on about two years ago... it has solved the problem ever since - especially on the bumpy morning drive to work.

I was thinking about the same. A nice easy fix.
