So my car was sitting in the driveway over the weekend and my passenger side mirror decided to fall out causing it to break when it hit the ground. It appears that the adhesive used to attach it to the housing just dried up. My car is CPO and the dealer is trying to charge me $81.59 for the mirror and the housing( which I don’t need). Does anyone have any ideas how I can get a replacement mirror?
Thanks,
Scroll about 3/4 the way down on this link and you will see the replacement glass mirror. http://www.borton.com/parts/retail.php

You might want to pick up the Convex or whatever Euro mirror that is used....
It helps with the blind spot, i've heard.

same here it, the actual mirror comes off the plastic.
be careful if you try to glue it or epoxy it back on as the heating element may not be able to do its job.

Mine passanger side did the same thing. Walked out to the car in the morning and found it laying on the ground (luckly in one piece). I just glued it on and so far so good. Then about 2 weeks later I was driving down the freeway when the drivers side decided to jump off the car (going 75mph) I hope nobody hit it. Had a hard time finding a local dealer that had the correct mirror. BVV had them, but I needed it ASAP.

You really want to replace the SR with a VR? Don't get me wrong, I love the VR, its just sometimes I fell its two big (not when we travel to Tahoe ) just when trying to find parking at TJ's in westlake.
