I know...eventually want to do the 05+ console swap
buttons = car computer functions (xm, mp3s, navigation, bluetooth phone etc)

That came off just a little bit creepy. But feel free to push my buttons anytime.
In terms of the actual buttons...um...what did you do exactly!? How did you get the functionality to work there?

Hacked apart a Zenith TV Remote control. Used a usb keyboard controller to map the buttons to actual letter keys on the controller. These letters are mapped to the functions by my car computer. http://********************/smile/emthup.gif
