I am looking for the Part number, or the actual part if someone has one. Its the little plastic MEM button for the drivers seat in my S80. It has the 1, 2, and 3 buttons, but the mem button has been missing ever since I bought it, and I have been trying to avoid buying an entire new side assy for that seat because they are expensive. Thanks!

AFAIK all the buttons on the seat control unit are not available separately.
You might want to check with a salvage yard that has some P2 wrecks on hand. Other P2 Volvos besides the S80 also use the same style seat control unit which is either a 8682700 or 39980245 part number.

Re: Part Number Needed, or part. (hibrad2005)

It doesn't seem to have its own part #. Its only specified as a unit. Id say go to a local junk yard. Maybe the they have some S80's, just pull it from there. Maybe some of the older volvos have the same type of button which would probably be easier to find.

You would think that there would be someone that had an accident bad enough that they couldnt fix it. I think they all get shipped off. I remember there being one at one of the largest junkyards in the northwest (somewhere in Washington) and one day it was there, the next everything was already sold on it.

You can always try http://www.vandsautodismantlers.com/
They have a huge amount of volvos, you can get that whole part used. I doubt they'll sell you one button but the whole unit shouldn't cost too much.
You can always just put a dull pin in there when you need to use it.
