Hey guys sorry for the repost...

asking what the part number is for the gasket that sits between the downpipe and an aftermarket exhaust. Thanks in advance.

I wouldve ordered the remflex but its a $9 part with $9 shipping from WA so it wouldnt get here in time. just not worth it.

Also, would it be beneficial for the gasket to be doubled up?

Walk into any exhaust shop and ask for the standard 2-bolt oval exhaust gasket.

They are about $1.00

You wouldn't double up on a condom, so don't do it on exhaust gaskets either!

Re: Part # for DP to exhaust gasket? (mpdbrown)

the Remflex is 1/8" graphite that compresses to 1/16". So if there are flange issues, it will seal up much better than doubled-up standard-sized gaskets.

And no, I don't work for them. lol

For stock exhaust, no...a standard one will do.

If you are running 3" all the way from turbo back, then yes you will need a gasket for 3" pipe.

And you have to make sure the holes line up.
