Hi,
I have had a message on my my dash Parking Brake Service Required on my 2018 XC90 and finally took it to the dealer to diagnose. Their write up said they upgraded the software (vague, no details).
When I left the dealership the message popped back up immediately. Clearly they didn’t fix it but otherwise the car drives fine but with the message it seems to disable the use of the cruise control. I really don’t think the dealership tested it and did the bare minimum to get it out the door.
Any thoughts on how to DIY fix this? The easiest solution is to go back to the dealer but my confidence level is pretty low at this point for them to fix it. I haven’t seen any clear resolution to this online. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
