Hello, i did a couple of searches throughout the forum looking for this topic but apparently noone ever started a thread about this, but i would like to know if anyone has ever painted their lower part of the car to macth the entire color of it.<br>Some of you my recall my attempt to sell the car, but somehow i managed to follow back in love with her, especially after i put those two mooses on my front fenders!! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/wink.gif" BORDER="0">

Yes, There is a few people that have done this. The only concern with most body shops is the bumpy texture of teh plastic. Most body shops will charge more to sand that plastic smooth than to do the rest of the work. And they will not warranty the work. I think you can buy those pieces alread smooth(for 05-06 models) and then all they have to do is prime and paint. That is what I would do (and have) then you will have a warranty on the work. Just my 2c's. Rick
