I'm in the process of upgrading the brakes and suspension on my 96 854R and would like some better looking calipers. Most affordable way is to paint them. I noticed on the Sweedspeed 854R project car they didn't paint the calipers and wonder why. For those who have painted them I'd be interested to hear what worked and any pics of how it looks.
Many thanks,
Reggie

Re: Painting Calipers (Kaizai)

Use a high temp paint and brush it on if the calipers are on the car. I've used POR-15 high temp exhaust manifold paint (actually called POR-20) on my calipers, and it looks great. Krylon makes "BBQ & Stove" paint in spray cans that will withstand very high temps as well. If you get spray paint, you can carefully mask off the areas you don't want painted, or just spray it into a container and then brush it on.
