I have 2008 v70 2.4d 120kw (d5244t5).
Engine hardware is the same as d5244t4. (d5 136kw)
I have vxdiag nano - work ok with vida 2014 and vdash2(I have change succefuly language for example)
I have option in vdash2 for update ecm to d5 or stage1 150kw but i need decode my ecm pin
I wrote to the support but unfortunately the waiting time for a reply counts in months.
I see on their website that there is an option to decode ecm pin from a log vida file. can anyone tell how it works? is it enough to connect to vida in diagnostic mode or do I have to somehow update the ecm via vida so that this code will be in the logs?
alternatively - I also have mpps v13 - I found information that after adding the k-line wire, I should be able to read and upload maps.
Does any of you have the skills to change the maps from my mpps file to d5 maps?
I know that there are typical tuner websites (e.g. ecuedit) but most "pro" tuners do not take into account that it is the same engine, they only make a "standard" st1 tune file by adding a few percent to existing maps ...
