Looking to upgrade the stock calipers on my 2016 XC, but the Polestar ones are insanely expensive and/or insanely rare to pick up used.

Anyone with more knowledge and experience than me know if a set of R calipers would bolt on without issue?

The S60R/V70R calipers would not bolt on without issue, there would need to be custom bracket made and and fitting required.

If you are really interested, PM< and I can look into getting custom brackets made for you.

I started down this path. They bolt on with bolt bushings (P2 uses smaller bolts than P3 [M12 vs m14 I think]) and a hub ring for the P2R rotor. I think there could be interference with the lower ball joint (it's been a while since I tried this), but the biggest issue for me was that the caliper face sticks out so far from the mounting pad that you'd need to run a fairly significant spacer and on my wife's S80 (lowered and, well, the wife's car) that wasn't really an option as ANY rubbing would be a no-go.

The XC60 has two piston calipers and 328mm rotors. Neither the 330mm P2 R brakes or the 336mm V8/R-Design brakes are much of an upgrade.
