Hi all,

In the process of doing an install of the Snabb FMIC and intake kits alongside a TIAL QRJ, I reached a near panic while trying to find a hose to connect to the second, larger barb on the Snabb intake pipe. It's not the PTC (obviously) and it's not the smaller fresh air line to the TCV (the small barb next to it). The iPd video for their own intake system shows the stock pipe as having this larger barb and shows the employee installing the hose (looked like a 3/8th or something) on the new iPd system. See picture for Snabb barbs:

However, after I wised up and decided to pull the stock pipe (PN 30792627) out of the trash, I discovered that my stock pipe simply had a plug in the way of the barb's location (looks like a plastic rivet that doesn't come out). The one that iPd sells stock for P2s is PN 30680446 and DOES have this barb (https://www.ipdusa.com/uploads/images_products_slideshow/fullsize_12738.jpg)

What's the difference here? Am I missing something? I can't find intake diagrams anywhere.

What does this barb do??

TIA. Pic of my engine bay post-install for attention. Tried to go with a swedish flag style but it ends up looking like a McDonald's playplace (should've gotten the black silicone)... Oh well.

Good progress and a great kit to install!

That barb can be reused and I think it’s the EGR valve. Basically recovers crankcase gas and recycles it back in.
The Snaab system comes with a tiny silicone hose that you’ll need clamps on to hold the pressure in. Mine was a beast to get tight and I ended up using compression clamps to secure.

Very happy with install after it’s all done!

Your TiAL valve is installed incorrectly. Needs to be turned to where the barb points towards the front of the vehicle. Ask me how i know.

- Contrast (gustav) informed me after I sent him pictures of mine..Snabbs site is incorrect.
