I have a 2012 T6 R with 60k miles and the CEL came up and I scanned it with a P0420 result.

There were a few incidents just before the code showed up where it was hard to start the engine. During that time I switched from 91 V power to 94 ethanol blend.

Could this be a real issue or is the T6 not liking the ethanol gas, which likely had water accumulation. I ran V power in the car since new with no CEL.

On the bright side I read here that it's possibly covered under warranty.

What are your thought?

My 2010 T6 has had that code for over two years. The rear O2 sensor has failed. Volvo wanted to replace the catalytic converter. My indie said to ingore it (keep checking for new codes) as the sensor will most likely break trying to remove it. I’m only keeping mine XC60 for a few more months.
