I know there are a number of you in the vicinity of this area...

I'll be overnighting with a group of 4 colleagues in Honey Brook, PA before flying out of Chester County Airport on Thursday morning...

Need a recommendation for fine dine with liquor license in the area for this Wed night.

Thanks...Google helped me find things like the "Maple Shade Smorgasbord", BK and McD's...not really what we had in mind.

Thanks in advance...and thanks mods for tolerating the OT post. The OTF is so inhospitable, I'd rather just not go there.

A coworker from the area recommends this place:

http://www.thegablesatchaddsford.com/

And BTW, it is called Shady Maple Smorgasboard; not Maple Shade (as in NJ).

Cool. Thanks! http://********************/smile/emthup.gif LOL...I just thought the smorgasbord part was hillarious. We have one guy who will be with us who is a bit shi-shi... The joke was to tell him we'd be going to TGIF's for dinner...and then watch him freak out...but something with the word smorgasbord in it could definitely send him over the edge.

We are overnighting at the Waynebrook Inn...is it decent?

Someone else in our group made the arrangements...website looks ok. I know there aren't many options for larger hotels in the area.

Just didn't want to do a 2 hour drive for an 8:00 am flight and then be going all day with clients. For the clients this is a day trip.

I would do Stoudts Microbrewery. The restaurant is called Black Angus.
Great beer and atmosphere. Not sure how close it is to Honey brook though...might be a drive.

It's 33 miles / 40 minutes away from our lodging.

It's 17 miles / 30 minutes...I have been there also for the beer festival.

A very big +1 for Stoudts Brewery, The Black Angus. Another good suggestion is Lily's on Main in downtown Ephrata, right on 322. Not too far from Honey Brook.
