Just curious if anyone knows if the program picking up a volvo in Sweden would work if you are from Canada or not? Would need to fly from here as well as have the vehicle shipped to Calgary Canada. It only talked about the US. Sounds like a neat program, why wouldn't you take them up on it? I guess maybe the only reason is to wait for it to be shipped back taking 2 months or so.

there is a forum specifically for the OSD program. A couple of dealers who do OSD are on the forum as well. I am sure they'll have an answer for you.

Not sure if I can link you to the forum, but it is under the FWD & AWD section of the forums. We almost did it and it sounds like a blast. Hope it works out for you.

Yes, the program's available in Canada. I did it 2 years ago from Ottawa. The OSD incentives in place since Geely took over Volvo aren't as good as they used to be...the discount off MSRP was 7.8% - now it's 3.4%.

Money aside, experiencing your new Volvo on European roads spoils the excitement once it gets back to Canada. Canadian roads are so....flat. Make a point of driving to Banff soon after so you can refresh your memory of what real driving's all about.
