Hi. Just bought a 2001 S40 in Toronto last month. Didn't like the ride at all when I first got it. Too bumpy! Turns out the dealer didn't check the tire pressure before giving me the car, so the front tires were at 23 PSI. I've set the front at 32 PSI and the back at 29 PSI, since the book indicates that this will give a 'smoother ride'. Anyone else try this? Should I just use the normal 39 front 32 back settings?

I noticed the same thing. Dealer set the pressure so low it was almost unmeasureable. I set it to 32. 39 is for heavy loads.

Besides, keeping the tire pressure lower will probably help with traction in all the snow we've been getting lately.
Robert
2001 S40
