I imagine MY 04 & 05 R's also have one-touch opening of the sunroof (and closing as well). My question is:
When you open the sunroof, does yours open about 90% before it stops? So if you want the sunroof 100% open you have touch the button a second time.
Not that I really care, but I was wondering if this is normal.

80-90% is normal.... beyond that, you get some acoustic and buffeting effects, so default is not 100%
That's normal. 100% open is significantly louder than the 90% open position.

No real sound difference even on the Eway between the 90% and 100% it seems in my 06. I wish the default in mine WAS 100%.

You might want to try that with a book, or something else beside your hand, on that first try.

Yeah, every car I can remember that's had a sunroof has always had a popup wind deflector, some using a combinaton of deflector and 85% open, except for volvo, but depending on the speed, the effects of the deflector become null, but at the same time, you dont really want the roof open.

Re: One touch opening of sunroof (steamboatsig)

Eliminate the annoying sound by cracking the rear window. Always worked for me. 100% open never a problem after that.
